Is that a Singer? I think I have one. If not one like that , it's similar. I don't know that history for certain, but I think it was originally designed to be a child's machine. Don't know how that would have worked! I don't have the clamp that it's supposed to have to attach to a table so you can crank it. It pretty much sits on a shelf in a bedroom!
