These are wild flowers that grow everywhere in Texas.

They look pretty cute to me!

Trio...

Here is Trio now that is is quilted.

It is a ‘My Red Door Designs’. Original measurements in pattern are 54X62, but I added on so I could use it on the bed. It now measures 89X104.

It was a kit. There was enough sashing to make it bigger and I just used scraps in addition for squares that I had in my stash.

And a pieced backing! Oooooo it worked out perfect! Now on to adding the binding and to wash it!

East Terrace House Museum...

Went to a couple of Historic homes yesterday.
The quilts in this house were unbelievable. She said the furniture in this house was the original, I forgot to ask if the quilts came from the families or not also.

Look at this staircase. Leads to the Cupola Room. Mr Mann would use this often to go to the tower to check on his barges on the Brazil’s River and to also check on his cotton plantation.

Journey’s End...

Here’s another finish.

I just love Kim Diehl patterns. Bought this as a kit in California before I left. It was on sale. Gotta love sales.

Now I am on the search for backing. Gonna try a local quilt shop here in Waco.

Baby reveal...

We traveled to Tuscola Saturday to visit with Family. We knew we were having another grand baby coming in January, but we didn’t know if it was a boy or a girl.

We went to the lake and they surprised us with John John hitting a egg like golf ball and telling us that we are expecting another boy! Yahoo!
