I did it...

I caved.... I gave in and signed into Pinterest!!! I promised myself that quilting comes first before sitting down and wasting all hours of the day.

Project....

Super cute idea using a pallet.... Tear it apart....slap a little green paint of different shades on.... Cut em' up... And you have a little Christmas tree... One of the girls from school made these up and I was lucky enough to get one... Thanks Betty!!
Before I got mine, I kidnapped one of the teachers tree and held it for ransom! Hehehe...

Then Betty brought me one, so I gave Susan's back.. :)
Here's mine with the crooked Christmas sign hanging on the wall... Whoops!

We all had a good laugh!..

Teacher quilt...

Made this for a friend... A teacher at her daughters school is leaving... She had all the kids sign their name on a green piece of fabric... I cut them out in shapes of leaves and created a tree for them to hang on..

Close up of leaves....

Then you always have to have a label....

14+ hours later... It was done... Phew! I don't think I could EVER write patterns... This was a challenge!

Free....

I have part of a lined dress that is about 30 x54" and then another smaller piece.. I am tired of holding on to them and I am giving these pieces to the first person who wants them. They are lined and would be perfect to make little purses or anything your little mind creates..
Let me know...leave me you email address

Fallbrook Guild Mtg....

Our guild had their December/Christmas meeting last night and I can say it was so much fun!!!
Friendship groups decorated their tables and then we voted for them in different categories..
This is just some...

Food... Oh my!!! Lots and lots of wonderful salads, breads, desserts ....
Then we had 7 members of the Fallbrook choral Group come in and sing for us..
Sorry about the big ol' speaker in the way..

Then we all brought a fat quarter in and stood in a huge circle around the room and read the quilt Christmas story and passed a bag around each time a certain word was read.. It was a blast!
We have the best guild, I think so!!
