Finishing up weekend...

Saw this on Internet and thought it was the cutest.. Got my graph paper out, started measuring and drawing last weekend and this weekend... Finished it.














Now just to quilt it.... Eech... My pile is growing.... :(

Field trip!

Marie, Andrina & I made our way down to La Mesa today.
Country Loft was have an outdoor quilt and sale with all the proceeds going to breast cancer.. " the cure".. These quilts below are the ones on display in the back of the shop.. I forgot to take pictures of the ones or front that were for sale..











It was a fun filled day!!
Then... Marie and I went to a friends house, and it was totally awesome.. Just like another quilt show. Anita... You are an amazing woman!
Here's just a couple of pictures in her house..















She made each and every one of these... and a lot of them are actually hand sewn and quilted! So much fun!!

Ice cream anyone?!?

Made this table topper for when anyone at work or at home that has a birthday or celebration of any any kind. We can just plop it on the table and be decorative..



Again... I just LOVE this binding. I sew it on and be done with it.

Flowers and flowers...

Made this little guy last night..... It was the most fun thing to make!


I even machine quilted the little flowers myself on my small machine. Raw edge appliqué...


Checkout the binding.... Magic binding... LOVE IT!!!


Then I just tied it... Looks so cute...



-super easy and quick!

Busy bee....

This is just 1 of 5 block of the months I have been doing.... Actually, another one is a block of the week and it comes with an additional free block of the week so it's really 6!!
Then on top of all those.... I have been doing a huge amount of hand stitching...plus..... I started back to work 2 weeks ago!
Then I have 2 other quilts started that I have been working on... Gotta keep busy!
