Quilts of Valor...

I don’t remember if I posted any of the quilts I have made or quilted up for the Quilts of Valor group.
I am up to 8 now... there is a HUGE demand for these quilts, especially for the Texas area.

These were made from fabrics I had.... some scraps, others from my stash. These 2, I made the pattern up.

This red, white, blue... was a kit that is from QOV.

The one above from my stash... below was a kit that my friend Sandy pieced up. She is a beginner, and she did an awesome job. This is only like her 2nd quilt ever done, and she has mastered it!

This one below.. I was given the panel and all other fabrics were mine.

Below was another kit from QOV...
This one below was my fabrics. I had piles of 2 1/2’ strips in 3 different fabrics and had to figure something out to use them up.

This last one I just finished yesterday and still needs to be quilted up. I have quilted all of them and they are ready to be donated on Tuesday. This last one will have to wait till next month to be turned in. I also have fabrics for them and extra squares I have made for them to decide what to do with them. There is a QOV group that meets once a month along with the person in charge of this program in our area. I sure hope this helps them out a little.

Great job on the QOV quilts. I know how much love and effort that goes into each quilt. We have a group in our town and there also is a great need. I personally am making 3 quilts for family members this year along with all the group efforts.
