'tis the season...

for working in the garden ..

and playing in the dirt...

I just love the warm-HOT weather...Weds and Thurs it's suppose to be in the high 90's here.. I am a happy girl!!

The last time the girls got together at the cabin, we decided to have a snowman block exchange. This is how it turned out! There are 8 of us and so I only needed to make 1 block which was the embroidered saying about snowmen. We are getting together this weekend, AGAIN, yahoo!, and so I am bringing it to share with those who haven't seen it yet. When I get back, my project will be to quilt this little darlin'. Not sure how, because each block has it's own character and I will have to go around things. Can't wait till Thursday... :)

Wild Animal Park walk...

Marian, Andrina, Marie and myself took off to the Wild Animal Park this morning for a walk. Season passes are great! I would totally use it more if it were closer to me, but from where the other girls live, it's less than 30 mins. to get there. We opened the park at 9:00 with a nice size crowd. We ended up in the WAY back of the park, pass the nature walk and into tim-buck-2...Maybe only 4 other people at the most passed us on the hike. You would never believe that you were in a park where we found this pond... It sounded like we were up in the mountains. When we walked back down, a gazillion people had showed up. Good Friday, spring break, kids on vacation... AGGHHHH.. We left!

Italy...

After a lonnngg flight... Kelly arrived safely in Italy... She had already eaten Pizza at a pizzeria on the beach and had gelato before I had talked to her... She will be enjoying her softball games and missionary trip all week and will return to Texas on Saturday.
