Seabreeze...

What started off as Laundry Basket “seabreeze’ pattern, ended up like this.

I have a very talented friend who took this pattern, put her own twist on it, and she shared it with me and I created this beauty!

Mariealena put her creativity to work on this baby! I just made it fit to my size I needed it to be. I have 4 pages of chicken scratch notes I made and there really is no set pattern this came from except from Mariealena’s notes she jotted down.
It took just under 5 hours to quilt it’s so big. And also 5 pre wound bobbins.
I couldn’t decide what color border looked the best so I decided to do the flange border. Measures about 89x108. It can fit on top of a queen size bed. I absolutely love it!

This and that....

Been busy quilting away... working on the backyard but I don’t have any pictures of those.

There are still a couple of quilts waiting patiently to be quilted up. It was supposed to be all stormy today and I don’t plug my machine in when storms are in the forecast.

I turned in 7 QOV last month... and have 6 more completed now... still a couple more to finish up. I am up to 28 QOV since January 1st, 2020 that I have pieced/sewn or quilted up.

That’s about it. Hopefully tomorrow we can finish up the table in backyard, we stained it today and hopefully tomorrow we can put finish coat on it. Mark needs more wood to finish the roof of gazebo/swing area, so that’s on hold also. The roof didn’t go back on like we had hoped using the tractor, so he took it apart piece by piece and some parts were no good or damaged and needs to be replaced.
We planted a couple of fruit trees and some other plants... it’s slowly coming together.

#25...

Here is another QOV.

Once quilted up, this will be #25 I have either made and or quilted up or both since January.
The 2 border fabrics were donated by Jocelyn. Thank you Jocelyn!
Today we are working on our little gazebo swing area. Should turn out awesome!

Finished up the sew a long quilt by Edyta Sitar.

This was free on her blog a couple weeks ago. Very nice of her.

Quilted up my ‘hocus pocus’ quilt...

I love the idea of where I set this up, but the true colors you really can’t see. Lighting was off in the garden.

So I took it out front and it was a little windy.

But the colors you can really see.
Quilted up a QOV.

Sandy pieced this one up, made from random 12” square star blocks.

We made a sensory path for fun for the kids in neighborhood, they love it! It’s a big hit.my magnolia trees are in full bloom!

Garden is doing great!

Plenty of radishes, cherry tomatoes, cilantro, lettuce, spinach, kale we eat every day.... we are supplying the neighbors with fresh veggies also.

Having fun decorating the neighbors house also! Hahahha. Took her a while to notice also.
Quilted up 2 more quilts today... binding gets done next.. Mark is working on little porch swing area. My closet is done, everything is put away. Onto the next closet now.
