Got this quilt kit.... "Ramblin' Rose Meets Jamestown". It was originally a block of the month kit at the Cottage, but I have the whole thing. You are to use these templates from Marti Michell called Perfect Patchwork Templates. WHAT A PAIN!!! Each one that I have cut out, takes me no less than 1 1/2 hours to cut, piece and sew. Some have taken way longer. That lovely reverse sewing sometimes , or "frog" stitch (rippit, rippit). It happens, the directions aren't clear sometimes.
I haven't seen the finished product, have no idea what it will look like or even suppose to look like. Just have a copy of it printed off the printer that was running out of ink. So really it's a mystery kit!. hehehe. It will be HUGE! 82x106. Queen size it says. I took this pictures a couple of days ago, I have just 2 blocks left. YAHOO!

I like those colors! I am diong a block of the month too. times 2. And I have NOT done the first block becasue you have to use those dang templates.
