Before and after of a microwave cart I painted for work. Mark had already taken the doors off  by the time  I took the the picture.

It matches the hutch I painted a couple of months ago.

Cobble Stones..

Another one finished over the weekend. This is called "cobble stones" by Joanna Figueroa. Measures 53"x61". Pop on over to her blog Fresh Figs and check her out. She has some of the neatest quilts and quilt patterns. I would love to take a class from her at Road, but her classes fill up  in like 10 mins!

This quilt I finished sewing up this week. It is 2nd in line to get quilted this weekend. We have 2 teachers retiring this year and this is for our fisherman teacher.. Then all I have to do is make 2 labels for the quilts and I am ahead of the game! Cant wait to quilt this.. I have a new fish design I bought and am anxious to try it out.

santa's... done!

 well... the wool Santa table topper is done... I can say that I tried it by hand, and I am NOT a big fan of it, as I am regular embroidery.

 I signed up for this wool block of the month club quilt pattern along time ago, before I even tried doing it by hand. I am almost positive that my new fancy sewing machine I got is going to be doing the blanket stitch on this baby!

Book Fair time....

It's Scholastic Book Fair time at Ridgemoor Elem. My library has been transformed into a bookstore for 1 week. When Friday comes around, I will want to, or have already, pulled all my hair out! So glad this happens only once a year!!!!

Flea Market Garden Magazine....

I love this magazine!!! But I don't own it, yet! I saw it in the store, I was cheap and didn't want to pay the

pricey $9.95. Well... I should have bit the bullet. People are going crazy over it and loving it, and now I can't find it. darn it all! It is totally me... old stuff, garage sale finds, rusty.. and then garndening on top of all of that. So now I am on the hunt!!!

This is the school I work at. Wish someone would have taped the rest of the school in the audience... 100% participation from everyone! Is was great!!

We did it!!!

We did it!!!! Andrina, Marie and myself...Saturday... left my house at 7:00 a.m., met the girls in Fallbrook and we were on our way to Chula Vista! We hit ALL 16 stores.... got our passports stamped at each one and even bought a few little goodies along the way. I myself traveled over 300 miles with these girls... I walked in the door at 8:00 that night. This San Diego quilt run was really kinda fun. My first.. I have never been on one before, I just may have to do it again... a small one... I could never do the Southern California one.. wayy to big for me. Hope I win something, at least 1 thing would be nice. :)
