Roll of wool batting....

If anyone lives near or around Lake Elsinore and is in need of a roll of Hobbs wool batting, I have 1 one.  It is 108"x25yds. I cut 2 pieces out, used 1, but have the 2nd folded up.
After hearing how some people just love it, I splurged and bought one.. I'm not a big fan, I love my Hobbs 80/20 a whole lot better.
So it is just shy of 25 yds. I paid $285.00, and I will take $200.00. Or a reasonable offer.  Pretty good deal for only having 1 quilt made from it.
If your some what close to my area, I am willing to travel & meet up somewhere.

Baby gates...

Did I ever show you these adorable baby gates?
Bottom and top, to match!
Yep, they are mine, ALL mine... Custom made by Mark and they are removable when my handsome little man leaves. See the tie/ties on bottom one? It's so nice when I put my order in and the finish product turns out spectacular. I'm a lucky lady!

End of summer....

My little handsome guy (& his momma) packed up and left this week. I had the best 5 weeks of summer ever!
We had the best time! He got quite attached to his "grampy".
He also got his fill with all the fire engines that belonged to his Daddy.

Did a little swimming here and there.. In between walks to the park, playing, playing and more playing with Gramma.
And on the last night... "In and Out burger"!, he LOVED it! I cannot believe he is going to be 1 year old in about a weeks time..

Hanger...

When I was in Texas a year ago and visited Laurieana's wonderful shop, I bought 5 of these huge clips! I knew right away what I wanted to do with them. Attach them to a board and hang quilts from them. I finally did it!

So, now my "everlasting wreath" quilt can now hang. Plus, I can switch it out now for different holidays. Yay!

No more mosquitoes.....

I'm super excited to try out this bug spray I got in the mail today. Follow them on Instagram and etsy...
It has SUPER reviews... Hope it's as good as they say.
No nasty bugs or mosquitoes are gonna get me this summer!

Oldie but goodie...

Needs a good ironing after being hauled around in my trunk all that time.. I never forgot about it, just could never find the right color backing for it.

This guy, well, he was made 3 years ago! I was never thrilled with it and could never find a good match for it. Almost odd colors...Now that Christmas fabric is making its debut, I starting looking and whoala! Found one that would do.
Gonna make it fun and Christmassy. It was a quilt along on a blog from the happy quilter. It's called "star surround". Don't quote me on that, like I said, it's been 3 yrs! Haha. Someone may get a quilt for a Christmas present... We'll see...

Animal crackers...

Animal crackers in my soup....
Another quilt for my little guy....

Embroidery...

Made some flowers on the embroidery machine for one of the girls at work who was retiring. I put little dowels on them and stuck them in a cute vase. But I can't find the picture of that part...
So here they are after they were finished.

Family quilts...

Well, I did it! Only took me a couple of years...wasn't on the top of my favorite to do list as you can see. Made a quilt for each of Mark's brothers and sister. They are made from his dad's shirts.
Phew.... Finished them up a while ago but never did post. I think it was because I was having issues with BlogPress. So, I made some of these....
And, 1 of these...

Then, 2 of these. One for each of my kids. These were some of the left over blocks. All the quilts were personalized to each sibling with a note, picture and the dates. These 2 blocks go along with the blocks I made when my dad passed away. I made up blocks with left overs from a quilt using his shirts also. They were put into a photo album.
